PodCamp Toronto

Feb. 22nd - 23rd 2014 Ryerson University

The brands that are bringing you #PCTO14 (Gold sponsors)

As you know, PodCamp Toronto is a free event. The organizing committee volunteers their time, of course, but we couldn’t pull it off without the support of our sponsors. There are, after all, a number of costs associated with putting together a weekend long event. With that in mind, we wanted to take a moment to tell you a little bit about each of them and encourage you to check them out, give them a shout out and thank them. If it wasn’t for them, there would be no PodCamp Toronto.

rogers-fullRogers has been a supporter of PodCamp Toronto since the early days of our unconference. Known in the PCTO community for their fun, interactive challenges (scavenger hunts and social media bingo games, for example) that offer up wicked prizes, and of course, their beloved charging station. They’ll be back at #PCTO14 to keep your devices juiced! They’re super active in the social space – check them out at @RogersBuzz, @RogersHelps or facebook.com/Rogers

ing-fullING Direct is back again to show their love for the #PCTO community. As Canada’s most social bank (our words, not theirs ;)), they are a natural fit and are known in the digital community. If you’re looking for a refreshing change from your boring, corporate-style bank, ING is definitely worth checking out. They also have their collaborative workspaces, one of which is on Yonge Street between Queen and Dundas, known as ING Cafés. The Toronto space is welcoming and simply breeds creativity. Give them a follow and a like at @OrangeYYZ, @SuperStarSaver or facebook.com/SuperStarSaver

chevy-fullChevrolet Canada is another big supporter of PodCamp Toronto who we’ve been lucky to have on our side for the past several years.  They’re a socially savvy brand, and they fit right in with the #PCTO community. Above supporting us with sponsorship dollars, they’re always looking for ways to add value for our attendees, and never cease to impress.  This year they’re introducing the official PodCamp Toronto Food Map – “Find New Foods”, custom made just for PodCamp! Check out what they’re up to online at @ChevroletCanada or facebook.com/chevroletcanada
